What I Did: Third Friday Art Crawl
by raquel
Apparently, every Third Friday in the Dallas Arts District is kind of a big deal. The Nasher Sculpture Center has free admission, the Crow Collection of Asian Art and the Dallas Museum of Art have half-priced admission. Did I mention they are open until midnight, and have movies under the moonlight, live music, special gallery tours, and food trucks galore? As a member, I already planned to attend some of the special events planned at DMA so I was pleasantly surprised to learn of all the other activities taking place.
Next month’s Third Friday is the Summer Block Party. For more info, check out The Dallas Arts District.

I was down at the Art Crawl too and had a great time. I’m looking forward to June’s, because they will be showing a grown-up film ((500) Days of Summer – though I’ve seen it) at the Nasher.
The Arts District is Becoming the city social center that Dallas has always needed – I love going down there – especially the food trucks.
Thanks for sharing.
I’m glad you enjoyed the post! I am also looking forward to 500 Days of Summer at Nasher and the rest of the summer movie line up looks great as well.
